Description
Since the start of its mass production in the 1950s, plastic has become one of the most produced, consumed, and disposed-of materials, yet its impacts on human health have been largely ignored. This webinar brings together experts in the field of plastics to break down recent research and insights on the material’s impact on health, examining plastic waste, microplastics, and their dangerous additives.
Additionally, the online event will present the Youth4Water Plastic-Free Picnics campaign, which has successfully reduced plastic pollution in Odisha, India.
We hope you’ll come away from the webinar armed with the most up-to-date knowledge on plastics, as well as a deeper awareness of their current and projected impact on your country. We also hope the findings will inspire you to make more conscious decisions about your plastic consumption.
